1. Nationwide Delivery Network
Jensen Golf Carts is proud to offer nationwide delivery across South Africa. Due to the unique size and weight of our vehicles, we utilize specialized flatbed transport vehicles and trusted third-party logistics partners who are highly experienced in handling and securing golf carts safely during transit.
2. Delivery Costs & Quotes
Because delivery distances and terrain variations across South Africa can differ greatly, flat-rate shipping is not applied at standard checkout for our vehicles.
Once you place an order, or when you request a formal quote, our logistics team will calculate a custom, heavily subsidized delivery fee based on your exact location (e.g., residential estate, remote farm, or commercial resort). This ensures you only pay for the exact freight required.
3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timelines vary depending on whether your cart is currently sitting on our showroom floor, or if it requires custom factory work.
- In-Stock Carts: Typically dispatched and delivered within 5 to 10 business days after your final payment has cleared into our account.
- Custom Orders & Upgrades: If you have requested custom modifications (such as lift kits, custom seating, or specific paint jobs), delivery can take between 3 to 6 weeks. Our team will keep you updated every step of the way.
- Parts & Accessories: Standalone accessory orders are shipped via standard couriers and typically arrive within 3 to 5 business days nationwide.
4. Receiving Your Cart
Upon delivery, it is crucial that the buyer, or an authorized representative, is present to receive the vehicle. The transport driver will require a signature on the delivery waybill to confirm receipt.
Please inspect the cart carefully before signing. While our transport partners are fully insured, any cosmetic transport damage (e.g., scratches, dents to the canopy or body) must be explicitly noted on the driver's waybill before they leave the premises. Failure to note damage upon receipt may result in a denied insurance claim.
5. Local Pickup
Customers are more than welcome to collect their purchased carts directly from our Gants Plaza showroom in Cape Town at no additional charge.
If you choose to collect your vehicle, please ensure you arrive with an appropriate flatbed trailer and heavy-duty tie-down straps. Our workshop team will gladly assist you with safely loading and securing the vehicle.
6. International Shipping
At this time, Jensen Golf Carts primarily services the South African market. However, we do facilitate cross-border exports to neighboring Southern African countries (such as Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe) upon special request. The buyer will be strictly responsible for all cross-border transport costs, customs duties, and import taxes. Please contact our sales team directly for export inquiries.
